A New Type of Technology for New Needs
ThinBlueOnline utilizes the Verbal Options Simulator(VOS) to deliver practice-based learning that builds new Neural Pathways for improved social and communication skills. Learners respond verbally through realistic individual scenarios, backed up with Role Models, Key Elements, and Insights to facilitate learning.
Virtual simulators featuring shoot/don’t shoot scenarios have been around for years, but the new frontier is to provide simulations that build verbal and cognition skills. TBO has developed the technology platform to build this type of training, and we are very proud to be partnering with the MILO Cognitive Division to expand their traditional Live Fire and Virtual Range experiences into online training that builds Social and Communication skills.
Best of all, this Innovative Technology is available Today, and accessible on Common Devices such as Laptops, Tablets, and Mobiles 24×7. This makes training possible anytime, anywhere, and at Affordable Prices that fit the Budgets of Law Enforcement Organizations Large and Small.
ThinBlueOnline utilizes new technology that helps Law Enforcement build Verbal Proficiency and master Social Skills.
The Verbal Options Simulator (VOS) Console
The VOS user interface is broken into four major areas.
- At the top is the Module Progress Map, which shows your current location in the Learning Flow
- At the left is the Video Pane, which can display role models or challenges, which require a verbal response
- To the right the Text Pane – an area for text and interactive controls to appear, which can be Insights, Key Elements, Scripts, Self-Recorded Video, or Help
- At the bottom of the screen is the Control Panel, featuring relevant Command Buttons and brief instructions that allow you to navigate the console.
